As there are so many different cellulite treatments which people can try to make the problem go away, cellulite patches have had a hard to get the attention that they maybe deserve. The products which they’re up against includes: gels, pills, creams and many other cellulite products which I cannot name as the list would go on forever. But in fact, most of these products actually work quite well which is a surprise.

So will cellulite patches become the next favoured cellulite product? Are they actually going to become really popular as they are going up in an industry where there is so much competition? The most important thing, do they actually work? Even though we already know that they are meant to be only for short time use, are they worth the hassle?

As is the norm with these types of products, no intensive scientific tests have been made to actually prove that the products work. What we have on hand are essentially their own product tests, marketing claims, and actual experiences of clients who tried the product.

As we all well know with cellulite products, there are usually no external scientific tests to see if the products are clinically made to help solve the issue. We have to trust the tests that the companies do themselves, and trust their claims that the product can do with product reviews from actual users.

Once, I knew a person who tried one of these cellulite patches. They followed the instructions on the package to the letter; this means that they had to keep the patch on the affected area for a whole six to eight hours! This treatment makes the skin pull tighter around the area of the patch, and hence give the skin a smoother and tighter look, but for only a short period of time. A few days later, the cellulite patches effects had worn off, and the cellulite was easy to see once again. One of the many problems which come with these products is that because the patches are so small and the cellulite areas were large, it becomes hard to treat the whole area and so in the end, there was only a small area treated on while the rest of the skin surrounding it still had those bumps.

But another cellulite patch which another one of my friends tried worked out to be far more effective. They noticed that their appearance of the cellulite had vastly diminished. On the other hand, it didn’t seem to get rid of the dimples. So on the whole, I do have to say that cellulite patches do seem to be very good for a temporary situation. If you wish to get rid of cellulite once and for all, I wouldn’t recommend going about it this way. The cost is also fairly pricey for what it’s worth.
