People think of facial hair only being on the male gender, but it is a fact that many women also have it. This type of hair can be found near the lips (usually on the upper lip), in between the eyes (at the top of the nose) or on top of the chin. Women often don’t want hair like this, but many don’t know how to remove facial hair. Especially as women go past the menopause, facial hair grows more often. As this is problem that many women wish they didn’t have, there are lots of products that are out there to remove facial hair. But there are a few easy steps to follow for the best ways to remove facial hair.

Firstly, a person should never; I repeat never shave facial hair. As men know, shaving facial hair means that it’ll grow back quicker and even thicker than it did before – so this defiantly not how to remove facial hair. So a simple way to do it instead is to use tweezers and pluck the hair out. This method is most effective when there are only a few stray hairs about on the face; or else it will take too long! So if you have a whole area covered with facial hair, then you may need something else instead of having tweezers.

Using waxing products is very popular as it is very simple to use and extremely effective. There are two types of waxes: the pre-made wax or you can make your own home made wax – for example, using heated up honey is a good homemade substitute. So if you want to wax this way, you need to heat up the wax or the wax substitute into the microwave until it feels warm, but not boiling hot. This is a very popular way of how to remove facial hair as is also fairly cheap.

Then when it becomes spreadable, get a wooden stick or Popsicle stick and place it on the facial hair. Make sure that you place it on the same direction that hair seems to be growing. After you have done that, collect a small bit of hair-removal cloth, and put it on top of the wax. Ensure that the cloth has stuck fully to the area. Once this has been done, put your hand on the skin and pull it gently. With the other hand free, quickly remove the cloth in the opposite way the facial hair was growing. Then hopefully, the hair should all stick to the cloth and none of it should be left. If there are any stray hairs left, use a tweezer to pluck it out. To remove unwanted hair is a bit of a chore at times, but shows you off to be a more confident person!
